Labor Day Weekend is upon us, and with that the end of August! Check out these family-friendly events happening in your area as you enjoy your 3-day weekend. 

  • Friday, August 31, 2018

Sea Turtle Awareness at Crandon Park: "Journey into the world of sea turtles with an informative presentation describing the local sea turtle species, their life cycle, and some of the dangers they face today. Following the presentation, participants will head to the beach to observe as authorized staff release the hatchlings into the ocean." For more information, click here.

Twilight Racing and Free Concert Series: "Gulfstream Park, South Florida’s premier entertainment destination, will begin Twilight Racing Fridays featuring live Thoroughbred horse racing at the iconic track followed by a free Twilight Concert series in the Sport of Kings Theater every Friday this summer through Aug. 31. Every week, guests will dance to the rhythms of a different performer with music genres ranging from classic rock and disco to country and soul. The first post is at 2:15 pm.
