Dwntwn Movie Nights at Bayfront Park: “Happy Hour Starts at 7pm with free popcorn, music and more. Movies starts at dusk. Kids Club: Spring Break at Mall of the Americas: “Mall of the Americas is pleased to announce a week of fun-filled activities during Kids Club: Spring Break Week starting Monday, March 25th through Friday, March 29th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in center court. Annual Japanese Spring Festival at Miami Beach Botanical Garden: “The Japanese Spring Festival invites guests to experience Japanese culture firsthand through interactive and immersive encounters including thundering performances of Taiko drumming by Fushu Daiko, Ikebana floral design workshops, traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, hands-on origami lessons and a Japanese Marketplace. A family-friendly event, the Japanese Spring Festival also offers a children’s corner featuring storytelling and arts and crafts. New to this year’s festival is an authentic sushi demonstration and tasting sponsored by the Consulate-General of Japan in Miami. Chef Mitsutoshi Sekita, owner and head chef of Koume Japanese Restaurant in Plantation, will share insights about the centuries-old tradition of sushi and demonstrate its unique preparation.
