It’s hot outside, but we have some recipes to cool you down! Try some of our favorites.

  • BLT Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 12 oz box of bow tie pasta

  • 1 cup of your favorite ranch dressing

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (or chopped spinach if you’re feeling fancy!)

  • Half a red onion, cut in half and then thinly sliced (optional)

  • 1 cup cooked crumbled bacon

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, quartered

  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

  • Three green onions, chopped

Preparation

  • Cook pasta according to directions on box.

  • Once pasta is finished cooking, rinse with cold water and drain completely.

  • Combine pasta and remaining ingredients (except green onions) in a large pan or bowl. Mix well.

  • Garnish with green onions and enjoy!

  • Awesome Veggie Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of your favorite multigrain bread

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1/2 medium Hass avocado

  • Cheese of your choice (optional)

  • Lettuce shreds

  • Sliced cucumber

  • Thinly sliced red onion

  • 2 slices of tomato

Preparation

  • Spread mayonnaise on each slice of bread, followed by either slices of avocado or spreading avocado over mayonnaise (If you prefer toasted bread, toast bread to your liking prior to adding mayonnaise and avocado).

  • Begin building your sandwich by adding cheese, lettuce, onion, cucumber and tomato in your preferred quantities.

  • Put sandwich together and enjoy!

  • Easy Sparkling Berry Slush

Ingredients

  • 4 oz frozen mixed berries

  • 4 oz sparkling water (can be flavored)

  • 1 tsp of stevia or to taste

Preparation

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and combine until smooth.

  • Add more or less sparkling water to your liking.

  • Enjoy!
