Today is a great day, friends - it’s National Pizza Party Day! In celebration, we have some unique, tasty pizza recipes for you to try for your pizza making party.

Ingredients

  • 1 prebaked 12-inch thin whole wheat pizza crust

  • 3/4 cup reduced-fat ricotta cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika, divided

  • 1 cup sliced baby portobello mushrooms

  • 1/2 cup julienned soft sun-dried tomatoes (not packed in oil)

  • 3 cups fresh arugula or baby spinach

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, divided

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper, divided

  • 6 large eggs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°. Place crust on a pizza pan. Spread with ricotta cheese; sprinkle with garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Top with mushrooms and tomatoes.

  2. With clean hands, massage arugula with vinegar, oil and 1/8 teaspoon each salt and pepper until softened; arrange over pizza.

  3. Using a spoon, make 6 indentations in arugula; carefully break an egg into each. Sprinkle with the remaining paprika, salt and pepper. Bake until egg whites are completely set and yolks begin to thicken but are not hard, 12-15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal

  • 1 portion (1 lb.) Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

  • 1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend

  • 3 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

  • 3 cups shredded romaine

  • 1/4 cup fat-free mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

  • 3 teaspoons minced fresh cilantro, divided

  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts

  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cut into 8 slices 

Directions

  1. Coat a 12-in. pizza pan with cooking spray; sprinkle with cornmeal. On a floured surface, roll dough into a 13-in. circle. Transfer to prepared pan; build up edges slightly. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Bake at 450° for 10-12 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.

  2. Meanwhile, place romaine in a large bowl. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lime juice and 2 teaspoons cilantro. Pour over romaine; toss to coat. Arrange over warm pizza. Top with sprouts, tomato, avocado and remaining cilantro. Serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 1 prebaked 12-inch pizza crust

  • 1 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce

  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest

  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup coarsely shredded cooked turkey

  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced

  • 4 ounces Brie cheese, cubed

  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°. Place crust on an ungreased baking sheet.

  2. In a small bowl, mix cranberry sauce and orange zest; spread over crust. Top with mozzarella cheese, turkey, onion and Brie cheese; sprinkle with rosemary. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
